You can find a detailed map of the route here.

We are currently consulting with council regarding road closures for 2015.  Below you can find information about the road closures that came into effect in 2014, and we expect 2016 to be similar.

Road Closures 2014

For safety reasons, we requested and were granted permission to close two sections of road for about 20 minutes each:

1. The Chinnor Road - Haw Lane junction - from around 9.55am to 10.15am

2. Haw Lane at the footpath crossing OS grid reference SU 80442 98493 - from around 10.15am to 10.35am

Please click on these links to download the Wycombe District Council Road Closure Notice and Order.

You can download the letter that was distributed to all homes in Bledlow Ridge here - this includes details of how roads were affected and at what time.

Other Roads Affected

Church Lane - The run will start in Church Lane with an estimated 250 runners congregating in the road, so we would be very grateful if residents would not use Church Lane between 9.45am and 10.15am on the day of the race.  Please note that there will also be a steady stream of runners returning to the school along church lane as they finish, from between 10.40am and 12 noon.

Scrubbs Lane - Runners will be on Scrubbs Lane between about 10.05 and 10.15am, closely bunched together.

Slough Lane - Runners will be on Slough Lane for about 300m near where Deanfield meets the lane.  This will probably be between 10.05am and 10.20am.

Chinnor Road - Runners will be on Chinnor Road en masse at the start of the race, heading from Church Lane to Scrubbs Lane, from about 10.00am to 10.15am.  They will also return onto Chinnor Road at the end of the race, quite spread out, from approximately 10.30am through to 11.45am.

Haw Lane - Runners will cross Haw Lane on the footpath to the north-east of Deanfield.

Car Parking

All competitors cars will be parked in the field adjacent and to the northwest of The Boot Public House.   Cars will enter the car park on Chinnor Road and currently will exit either onto Boot Lane and then onto Chinnor Road, or via the entrance back onto Chinnor Road.
